What affects the price
Green fee
The round itself. Listed weekday rates at the clubs here run from £11.25 to £495, and some clubs have lower winter rates.
Food
Bacon barms and coffee on arrival are standard. Lunch and an evening meal are what turn a round into a golf day.
Group size
Some clubs reward bigger groups. Hart Common gives one free round for every 20 society players booked and paid for.
Buggies
Usually charged on top and shared by two players. Houghwood has a large fleet for corporate days.
Day and season
Clubs keep weekends for members, so most golf days run midweek. Fridays and summer dates go first.
